About working with this Houston wedding photographer
Romantic and true to life colors would be the start, but ultimately, the one descriptor that encompasses what I do is “real.” Real emotions, real life colors and really personal photos that feel like home.
Absolutely! In-depth wedding planning allows you to get lost in the moment because you’re not lost in the details. And that’s exactly how we get those breathtaking candid photos I keep talking about! I’ll share advice from a photography perspective on all things timing, lighting and even wardrobe ideas for engagement photos. Your planner, though, is the one who will take so much stress off of your shoulders when it comes to handling day-of logistics. On my end, I want my primary responsibility to be taking care of the photos you’ll be looking back on for the rest of your life.
For one, I’ll stay out of the way, but be there for every moment, helping and posing when needed. I’ll also encourage you to ask guests to unplug for the wedding. When they’re truly present, it encourages you to do the same.
Truth be told, it happened organically as clients and friends entered that stage of their lives. Starting with senior photos, followed by college graduations and then weddings — it became a way to continue my documentation of their lives. But I’ve also come to admire the way that weddings join two people together, along with their friends and family as witnesses. The stories and celebrations of these moments, the rare instances surrounded by every single person that matters in your life, that is irreplicable. I’m drawn to that.
