Using Photography To Recognize The “You” In Your Brand So That Your Marketing Can Be More Like Relationship Building

The experience and process with this Houston branding photographer

Alright, alright. You’re here because you need photos for social media, your website — you know, those important platforms we all rely on. Photos of you, your process and that golden personality of yours. But trust me when I say that personal brand photography is so much more than filling up an Instagram feed.

Personal brand photography is a matter of using visuals to capture what only you have so you can work with more of the people that are looking for, ahem, you! That’s why I take time to capture your personality, your skillset and who you are.

- Sharing “yes this is me” photos that
  make your social profiles more
  personable and worth engaging with
- Understanding and portraying exactly    what makes you worth working with
- Ready to show up and be the proud
  founder of your brand

The Process

1. Talk it out

2. Strategize + shoot

Get in touch with me so we
can talk about the photos
your brand needs to stand
out. I’ll help you decide
which collection is best and
we’ll swap the real-life stories
of entrepreneurship.

Let’s clarify that vision of
yours from outfits to location
and the overall style. Show
up (with coffee or champagne
if you’d like!) and I’ll make it
all come together with a
director’s touch and
cheerleader vibes.

3. Share + grow

3 weeks after your session,
you’ll have an all-out digital
gallery (and an all-out
celebration most likely) with
every single photo you need
for your website, email
funnels, social media, etc.

A Few Questions + Their Answers

About working with this Houston branding photographer

Which collection do I really need?

The more time we have, the more photos you’ll receive. It all comes down to how much content you need and how long you need it to last. The first collection is great for a month’s worth of social media content whereas the third collection could last you for an entire year. Another thing to keep in mind is the variety of photographs you need — if you want photos of you, your process and maybe your dog too, we’ll need a longer brand photoshoot.

How do I figure out what to wear?

I’m more than happy to provide guidance on this, but my go-to tip is to dress a step up above your norm. Think of where you want your brand to go in the next 5 years and who your audience is. Would a blazer feel too formal? But would jeans feel too casual? Look on Pinterest to see what feels like you and go from there.

Should I bring props?

If there are certain items that represent your brand, props are always helpful. Laptops, notebooks, etc. if you’re a writer and if you’re a florist, bring all the flowers! Try to think outside of the box too, though!
